Prachi Mehrotra
Community Team – New York
Prachi is an experienced policy researcher with a passion for thoughtful community engagement and corporate social responsibility.
Background
As the Corporate and Foundation Relations Coordinator at the University of Southern California’s Dornsife Advancement Office, Prachi evaluated hundreds of Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives across industries to highlight opportunities for public-private partnerships and collaboration. This work built upon her prior experience at the nonprofit Concordia, where she developed cross-sector partnerships to address pressing global concerns. In this capacity, Prachi specialized in issues related to forced labor and sustainable global food supplies. Expanding her study of social justice and policy during her graduate studies, she and her colleagues conducted a mixed methods analysis on the U.S. Customs and Border Patrol’s systemic bias and violation of the law against asylum-seekers at the U.S./Mexico Border for Al Otro Lado’s Border Rights Project.
Prachi’s background in policy, research, and analysis made her a perfect fit for the Ichor Analytics team in Brooklyn. She is fluent in Hindi.
Outside of Work
Prachi is an award-winning documentary filmmaker and amateur nature photographer. She fills the rest of her free time with yoga and playing with her kitten, Rigi.
