Maggie is a D.C. metro area local with an extensive background in the nonprofit sector and a passion for serving her hometown.
Background
Maggie previously served as the Senior Development Manager for the Washington-Baltimore chapter of the American Cancer Society. She navigated relationship building, community engagement, and program implementation during the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic. She developed relationships and engagement strategizes with diverse leadership committees to convert traditionally in-person programming to virtual formats unique to each community ensuring continued engagement.
As the Corporate Partnerships & Impact Manager at After-School All-Stars Maggie built and managed national corporate partnerships across 19 major markets including D.C. She created, managed, and executed engagement and volunteer programs with corporate partners and their employees that benefited the program's youth and met the partners' goals. While at After-School All-Stars she received her Master's in Public Administration with a concentration in Nonprofit Management from George Washington University.
Outside of work
Maggie loves spending time with her friends and family, trying new recipes and restaurants, buying more books before she's finished her TBR pile, and getting outside on the golf course.
