Leecia is a public policy, legal, and compliance expert with more than three decades of experience in both government and private industry.
Background
As a senior executive at Verizon, Leecia drove deployment of 5G in the New York metropolitan area and oversaw public policy, government affairs, and philanthropic matters in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.
Previously she served as Judiciary Counsel to Senator Joe Biden as well as Counsel and Homeland Security Advisor to Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton in the aftermath of the 9-11 attacks. She has also served as Deputy Secretary for Economic Development for New York State and advisor to Governor Andrew Cuomo, overseeing 11 state agencies and billions in public-private capital investment.
Leecia previously practiced law at Covington & Burling and at Hodgson Russ. She serves on the boards of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, Central Hudson Gas & Electric Corporation, Educational Housing Services, and as chair of the board of Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center.
Outside of Work
Leecia loves to travel and enjoys the visual and performing arts, from music and theatre to dance.
