Keysha Jones

Keysha is a community engagement specialist with extensive experience at the intersection of higher education, engagement, and entrepreneurship.
Background
As the Director of Implementation for the Virginia Workforce Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center (VWIEC) at Hampton University, Keysha led the community engagement initiatives for a federal grant that served small businesses at all innovation stages – from ideation to scale and growth. She also partnered with the Virginia Board of Workforce Development and other service organizations supporting entrepreneurs throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia. Before that, Keysha led community engagement and diversity initiatives for the Entrepreneurship Center in the Kenan-Flagler Business School at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She also managed the admission and retention operations for multiple academic programs in the University System of Maryland. Engagement has been the foundation for her work throughout the public sector over the past decade.
Her passion and expertise in advancing communities by connecting them to resources and to each other led her to join Ichor’s team in 2021.
Outside of Work
Keysha enjoys attending concerts and comedy shows. She also loves organizing homes in her spare time.
