Ichor conducted a comprehensive strategic review with the C-suite and top executives with a focus on risk mitigation, an editorial assessment of all internal and external communications regarding the relocation, and a stakeholder mapping and outreach exercise, with the final goal being to develop and launch a comprehensive action plan.
Considering the price tag of the relocation, the need to protect the growth of the institution (the share price was up over 50% during the prior 5 years), and the reputations on the line, this plan was critical.
Our action plan identified new risks and opportunities, tightened up communications to internal and external stakeholders, and focused on delivering a relocation free of reputational heartache that would look good against prior corporate relocations to the area.
