Elisa Calderón
Community Team — Chicago
Elisa is an experienced researcher with a background in the non-profit sector, community engagement, and international trade relations.
Background
Based in the Chicago office, Elisa's work consists of conducting socio-economic research briefs for cities of interest, identifying key stakeholders and potential partnerships, and investigating industry leaders and the market sectors in which our clients operate in.
Over her career, Elisa has interned with the Mayor’s Office of Trade and International Affairs for the City of Houston, preparing briefs for the visits of community leaders as well as foreign dignitaries and diplomats. She also volunteered with the Memorial Assistance Ministries, a non-profit organization providing family assistance for low-income families, refugees, and immigrants seeking basic needs. While completing her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science at the University of Houston, she was on the executive board for the Chapter for the National Society of Leadership and Success, and worked in higher education advocacy as a student assistant to the Dean of Students. She was also the recipient of the Dean’s Award in her final year for her contributions to the campus during her 4 years.
Elisa's background in research, analysis, and community engagement makes her an ideal fit for Ichor's cutting-edge Research team.
Outside of Work
Elisa has multiple hobbies including painting, playing the cello, and traveling. She is also passionate about human rights and impact litigation, and has aspirations to go to law school in the near future.
