The Problem
Our client, a large academic institution with 150+ schools in its network, faced declining enrollment post-pandemic. Amid the shifting educational landscape, the client had to phase out several school campuses. They sought to transform one campus into a community center that would centralize social and educational resources for students and families in a particularly vulnerable area.
Leaders understood that incorporating stakeholder feedback into the design and implementation process for the center would be essential to optimize impact and ensure families affected by the school closures were supported through a smooth transition. The Solution
The plan provided a blueprint for the center with actionable recommendations ranging from offering social and mental health services to ensuring multilingual accessibility. These tailored stakeholder insights strengthened the overall approach for the center, which would serve nearly 95,000 local residents, and positioned the client to move forward successfully.
