Brent is an experienced project management specialist who is passionate about improving the lives of others by way of intentional, proactive community engagement.
Background
Brent is a certified PRINCE2 project management professional whose career spans three continents. As a Portfolio Officer with the United Nations Office for Project Services, Brent was responsible for planning and executing complex landmine removal projects on a global scale. During his time with the UN, he worked to support life-saving operations in South Sudan, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Central African Republic, and Lebanon. He also managed key relationships with UN senior managers as well as external stakeholders, inclusive non-governmental partners and commercial third-party service providers.
Prior to that, he worked in the international not-for-profit space, where he supported local civil society organizations in Sudan and promoted the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace’s Middle East Center in Lebanon.
Outside of Work
Brent can often be found crisscrossing the City of New York by bike. He is also an avid foodie and weekend hiking enthusiast.
