Ava Tiller

Ava is an Associate for the Service team and provides project management, communications, and research support.

Background

Ava studied Politics and Chinese at Pomona College. At Pomona, they worked as a research assistant for the Chinese department as well as a Women in Global Security fellow, researching climate policy in East Asia. Their undergraduate thesis focused on Chinese investments in clean energy transitions in Latin America. Ava gained policy crafting experience at the Maureen and Mike Mansfield Foundation as a participant in the Women’s Trilateral Youth Empowerment program where they collaborated on a policy brief on gender-based violence after natural disasters.  

Outside of Work

Ava enjoys choral singing and currently sings with the Arlington Chorale.
