Aman has a background in statistical and public health research methodologies and is passionate about using data to advance equity and uplift communities.
Background
Aman worked as a research assistant for the Chicago Center for HIV Elimination, where he analyzed variables impacting preventative HIV medication usage outcomes and worked to ensure the city's LGBTQ+ community received equitable access to care. He also conducted public health research as a public health sciences fellow at the University of Chicago, where he analyzed data about preventative HIV medication usage among Black men with a history of incarceration. Prior to this, he was part of the University of Chicago International Genetically Engineered Machine (iGEM) team.
Outside of Work
Aman can be found reading a new book, implementing code, raving about his plant children, or finding the best place to eat.
