Aleeza is an urban planning and GIS professional with a background in ecology and is passionate about sustainable development and strong communities.

Background

Based in New York, Aleeza drives GIS research for our telecommunications and environmental justice-related practices. She is responsible for developing map products, research briefs, and provide additional support to our Products teams.

Over her career, Aleeza worked as a urban planner in Hudson and Rockland Counties, where she attended board meetings, prepared comprehensive planning documents, and created various map products. Before that, she worked in New York City’s shelters supporting the unhoused population.

Aleeza's background in urban planning, community engagement, and participatory GIS make her an ideal fit for Ichor's cutting edge research practices.
